2012 Kicks Off at Annual Banquet
About 770 St. Joseph Metro Chamber members and guests attended the 92nd Annual Banquet, "An Evening Under the Tuscan Sky," on Jan. 14, 2012. The event, presented by Commerce Bank, serves as an annual meeting for Chamber members. Above, 2012 Board Chairman Matthew Dority, of KCP&L, presents a gift to 2011 Chairman Brad McAnally, of Hy-Vee Food Stores, Inc., to thank him for his service.
Diplomats "Build" A Habitat House
The Diplomats Club recently participated in the CANstruct fundraiser for St. Joseph Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers spent Jan. 21 at East Hills Shopping Center building a house out of canned goods donated to and purchased by the Chamber. The canned goods were donated to a local food bank. The Diplomats won for "Best Use of CANstruct."
